IPACC - March Cycle - All Welcome
This is the first IPA Cycling Club of 2017 and it is one for all levels and standards of cyclists. There are a few climbs along the route but none are too challenging. The 65K route is detailed below and will set out from FELDA GYM at 10am.
Leave Felda Gym at 10am, travelling along Dublin Road to Xerox Lights
Turn Right and continue along bypass to Ravensdale (Old N1)
Turn Right at Waterworks and cycle to Jenkinstown and left to Lordship
Travel throught Lordship and turn Left at Bush Cross and onto Carlingford
BREAKFAST BAP at FOUR SEASONS HOTEL
Leave Hotel and take Main Road back to Dundalk
When back in Dundalk turn Left onto Point Rd and Right onto Red Barns Rd
Take the Rock Road to Blackrock and continue through village to Dublin Rd
Turn Right at Greengates and cycle back to Felda Gym
Total 65K - Approx 3 Hours
FELDA, Dundalk, Louth
The Felda Health, Fitness and Spa is location on the Dublin Road leaving Dundalk. It is approx 5K from the town centre and has a spacious carpak. Members of the IPACC will be gathering here from 9.45am
The IPA Cycling Club’s First cycle of the year. This is a new / revised route. Route one from Dundalk to Carlingford via Ravensdale. It is a total of 65 Kilometres and it suitable for cyclists of all abilities.
Peninsula 65K IPACC
The Cycle will stop at the Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingofrd for a Breakfast-Bap and short break before returning to Dundalk. The only cycle around that you put weight on when cycling 65 Kilometres.
